Happy New Year!

Christmas was a blast this year! We traveled as usual, going to my parents on Christmas Eve and to the Neel's on Christmas Day. Addy and I stayed a couple of extra days while Brent had to come back to Baton Rouge for work on the 26th. In our extra days, we visited The Mays', The Roberts', Nina, Brayden, Carter, The Colwell's, Mrs. Connie, Julie, The Sherrill's, and The Halle's. It is so good to see friends and family that we do not get to see very often!

The best gift we got at Christmas was...my sister and brother-in-law telling us they are expecting their first child! We are so excited! Addy is not too thrilled about having a cousin, but loves that Jakey (Rachel's dog) is going to have a brother or sister!! It will really hit her when she is going to have to share her Mamee and Papa with Mini Cooper!!

For New Year's Eve we went to Kasie and Eddie's house. Heather, Dwight, and Ian joined us. We fried fish, french fries, hushpuppies, and pickles in Eddie new fish fryers he got for Christmas. It was so YUMMY!! Around 10:30 we went outside and let the girls pop fireworks. Emma, Addy, and Liv had so much fun. All of the kids except Ian made it to 12:00am and welcomed in the 2008 with us!
