HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter to everyone! What a wonderful time of year to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him!

We had a good Easter this year. We did not celebrate with our family as we stayed down in Baton Rouge this year. With the gas prices rising and building our house, it just made since to stay put.

Good Friday we had a crawfish boil over at Hay Hay and Duffy's (as Addy calls them) house. The kids had so much fun as they learned how to play Redneck Golf. Thanks to Mark for having patience with them!!

That afternoon we headed out to our house and started cleaning up after the framers. We worked until about 8:30pm and then Kasie and Eddie had us over for dinner. Olivia got to pick what we had and she chose breakfast foods. It was very YUMMY!!

Saturday morning we woke up and once again....headed to the lot. Brent worked all day, but Addy and I skipped out for lunch and a nap. After we woke up, we went back to help daddy or should I say watch daddy!! Addy loves playing in the sand and riding in the wheel barrell.

Sunday morning, I woke Addy up and told her that the Easter Bunny had left her some prizes. Since she is deathly afraid of the Easter Bunny, she did not want to walk into the living room as she thought he was in there waiting for her. After I assured her he was not and just left her basket full of goodies, she was hesitant but made her way to see what he brought her. She was very happy she went because she loved what she got. We got dressed and headed to church. It was a nice service and Addy even wanted to go to big church. So we let her, but after all the singing was over and two trips to the potty she said "where is my friends?" That was her way of telling me she wanted to go to Sunday School! Sunday afternoon, Brent went to shoot his bow and once again... Addy and I took a nap!

I hope everyone had a great Easter and got lots of goodies from the Wonderful Easter Bunny!
